While doing a self breast massage the first thing you’re going to have to do is feel in your arm pit in itself. You will pump rather than stroke like you would do in a normal massage straight up. Relax the shoulders and just pump up in there. You might feel with your fingers that it is a little tender in there. Sometimes it’s not but sometimes it is. That lymphatic tenderness is a little different than muscle tenderness.
For Inward Pointing Breasts:
Find a comfortable hand placement on your breast and the same idea as pumping you’re going to grab the entire breast and pull it towards the arm pit then release. Do that about 5 times and see how that feels.
For Tight Breasts:
Put your hand in place under your breast and the second hand over the breast. For the second hand you will focus more on the palm of the hand and that upper inner quadrant that will go up towards the clavicle and the breast bone. Keep doing that same action going up. It can be sore especially if you have tight shoulders or your pecks are sore. You can always keep doing it longer if you desire. The breast can totally stay still and be stabilized or it can move, sometimes it feels like it just naturally moves up as well. Push it straight back to the chest wall. It’s different from the other ones because you are going straight back, you don’t even have to stroke your hand even that much.
